Different ‘Forms of Verb’ – based on ‘Person’.


What do we mean by – ‘Person’ – in relation to – Forms of Verbs?

Person‘ – refers to – the ‘Subject‘ of the verb – meaning – who are you talking about

  1. You – yourself, as the speaker’ – is called – the 1st person.
  2. The person who you are talking to – the listener’ – is called – the 2nd person. and .
  3. Any other person or thing that you are talking about’ – is called – the 3rd person. Now – .

The ‘Form of Verb’ changes, depending on – who you are talking about.

  1. Are you talking about yourself? – using the word  I or .
  2. Are you talking about the listener? – using the word – ‘you‘. or .
  3. Are you talking about a third person or thing? – using the words – ‘HeSheIt‘, or using that ‘individual’s name‘ directly. Like – Rohan, Sandy, Christopher, Mr. Brown, etc.
