Offensive .


When something is offensive, it means that it is either disrespectful, hurtful, insulting,or,highly displeasing for others.


Examples .

  • The politician’s remarks were very offensive to women.
  • It is both, parents and teachers responsibility to stop kids from using offensive language.
  • Even though he didn’t say anything, his body language was still very offensive.

WHEN & HOW to use this word .

1. When you are talking about something that is disrespectful, hurtful or insulting.

  • Don’t use offensive language at work.
  • Sometimes, you don’t even realise that your words were offensive to others.
