When someone is impulsive, it means that they do some things suddenly and quickly, without thinking about them first.


When something is impulsive, it means that it is done suddenly and quickly, without careful consideration.


Examples .

  • It is not good to be impulsive, especially when giving an interview. Listen to the question carefully, think about it and then answer!
  • The best stand up comedians are those whose jokes are impulsive yet funny!
  • You should not be impulsive in judging people. Sometimes people are very different than what you thought they would be.
